Designer

This position is full-time and you’ll be working out of our office overlooking Union Square in San Francisco. This position is ideal for someone who is a big picture thinker, understands future trends, and at the same time, is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done.

Requirements:

• Experience designing outstanding, award-winning solutions for Internet services or product interfaces.
• Excellent typography, visual design and illustration skills applied to user interface design. Advocacy for simplicity and consistency.
• Proven ability to propose usable interaction flows applying the User Centered Design Process from concept to implementation.
• Ability to think on your feet and “get it done.” Readiness to apply common sense and skip all those complicated time-consuming academic process steps mentioned above when necessary.
• Talent to quickly create convincing sketches and UE prototypes as well as precise graphical assets.
• Proven experience collaborating closely with Designers, Engineers, Business Owners and QA experts. Ability to take constructive feedback from anybody in the team regardless of rank and background.
• Solid technical understanding, ability to make proposals that are both implement-able and delightful to the end user.
• Solid Experience in all common design tools like Illustrator, Photoshop and especially Flash.
• BA or BFA degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Interaction Design or related field

Desirable:

• Previous experience in the development of online communities, social networks, widget-based applications, or mobile games/applications.
• Ability to map interface behavior consistently between cell phones, handhelds, browsers, televisions and kiosks.
• Experience developing with HTML, DHTML, Java, Flash, and/or AJAX formats.
