Nokia Web Upload

One of the coolest things about the Nokia N95 / Kyte combination is the ability to upload video straight to my Kyte channel using Nokia’s Web Upload (aka “Lifeblog,” aka “Share Online” - yes, there seems to be some brand confusion around what to call the thing, but that’s a subject for another post). With my N95, I can shoot and edit high quality video on the phone and then upload to my Kyte channel in the background. Now, I was using this feature today when I realized that the version of Web Upload that shipped with my new Nokia 95 was an older version that doesn’t support background uploading. The weird thing is that my firmware seems to be the latest. Anyway, the latest version of Web Upload is 2.07.24. I was running 1.07 I think. The new version is much better - the background uploading feature really makes a difference with large video files.  It took me a while to find the latest version of Web Upload.
