Foodies follow Slow Food Nation on Kyte

Slow Food Nation is being held in San Francisco this weekend and if you can’t physically attend, 7x7 Magazine and SF Weekly will be covering the event via their branded Kyte channels. SF Weekly blogger Tamara Palmer will be Kyting from the Taste Pavilions and the Slow Food Rocks music festival which will feature performances from Gnarls Barkley, Ozomatli, G Love & Special Sauce and others.
And on the 7x7 channel, Erin Fehrer will be interviewing some of the vendors exhibiting at the show.
Slow Food Nation is a subsidiary non-profit of Slow Food USA and part of the international Slow Food movement. It was created to organize the first-ever American collaborative gathering to unite the growing sustainable food movement and introduce thousands of people to food that is good, clean and fair.

Brandy is back…and she’s on Kyte!

Brandy has been very active on her Kyte channel, producing several shows a week, and utilizing the multimedia chat feature to communicate with her fans. In a recent show, Brandy talked about how important the fan comments are to her, and showed her diary where she writes down the names of fans that have left encouraging messages.

Chris Brown chats live with fans on Kyte
Posted by: Vera Sparre Under: Customers |R&B superstar Chris Brown held a live chat with members of his fan club on his branded Kyte channel, giving fans an inside scoop on his upcoming movie with Matt Dillon and T.I., collaborations with Madonna, Rihanna and Jay-Z for his next album, and plans for his new charitable foundation for kids.
Brown conducted the live chat right from his Web cam, demonstrating yet another way to live stream on the Kyte Platform.
Though the chat was exclusive to fan club members, Brown received over 11,000 views and 3,000 chat messages from fans!
His branded Kyte channel includes links to iTunes and Amazon, where fans can purchase his music. So be sure to click on the links in the player and buy his latest album, “Exclusive – The Forever Edition.”

Solange promotes new album on Kyte
Posted by: Vera Sparre Under: Customers |R&B recording artist Solange has launched her own branded Kyte channel and has been giving fans a behind the scenes look at her appearances on David Letterman, MTV’s TRL, The Today Show and BET’s 106 & Park as she promotes her new album, “Sol-Angel & The Hadley St. Dreams.”
Part of the Music World Entertainment roster, which includes Destiny’s Child, Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Sunshine Anderson, and others, Solange’s sophomore album debuted today as the #1 album on iTunes’ R&B charts. In a little under a week, Solange’s Kyte channel has achieved over 150,000 views and is embedded on over 80 web sites!

Media outlets Kyte the Democratic National Convention
Posted by: Vera Sparre Under: Customers |The Democratic National Convention (DNC) kicks off this week and several media outlets are utilizing the Kyte Platform to broadcast live from the convention. The Huffington Post, KCRW (a National Public Radio affiliate in Santa Monica), 790 KABC-AM (ABC affiliate in Los Angeles), and the UNLV School of Journalism have created branded Kyte channels to give an inside look at what goes on at the DNC, providing viewers with exclusive content that you won’t see on the television networks.
Note how UNLV has provided links to local Las Vegas publications that can embed the UNLV Kyte channel:
The outlets are also utilizing the Kyte Platform’s Twitter integration to send out “Tweets” whenever they produce new content. And the viral distribution capabilities of the Kyte Platform enables viewers to watch the DNC on these outlets’ web sites, or your own social network or blog.
