SF LoveFest 2008 Brings the Party to You with Kyte

Posted by: Vera Sparre    Under: Customers |

The San Francisco LoveFest 2008 has set up 3 branded Kyte channels to broadcast this year’s dance music parade and festival, which is expected to draw over 100,000 attendees. LoveFest is utilizing the Kyte Platform’s channel changer feature so fans can check out all of the action happening at LoveFest from a single Kyte Player. The “Main Channel” will provide a view from the official LoveFest 2008 float (there will be 28 floats at this year’s parade) and on Cams 2 and 3, fans can tune in to see the various DJs that will be spinning, interact with people at the event, and check out all of the crazy costumes that folks will be wearing.

You can watch the LoveFest’s branded Kyte channels on festival promoter Spundae's Myspace page, or hit the “Get & Share” tab at the bottom of the player and embed on your own social network, blog or web site. Peace and love!

Posted by: Vera Sparre    Under: Customers |

Recording artist and actor Bow Wow is using Kyte to document his 15 day “Walk Across America” to encourage young people to register to vote.  The walk kicks off today in Atlanta and concludes on Oct. 15 in Hartford, CT.  Bow will be walking for up to 6 hours a day and broadcasting on his Kyte channel as he speaks with citizens on the street and makes stops at various colleges, universities and radio stations to reinforce the importance of youth voter registration.

Fans can watch Bow Wow’s branded Kyte channel on his MySpace page, personal web site, or on Facebook by installing Bow Wow’s branded Facebook Kyte app.

Fans can also embed Bow Wow’s Kyte channel on their own blogs or personal web sites by clicking on the “Get & Share” tab at the bottom of the Kyte Player.  And each time Bow Wow produces a new show, the channel gets automatically updated, so fans don’t have to manually re-embed.
