Kyte iPhone Apps Framework Now Available; Interscope Launches First Artist Apps
Posted by: Vera Sparre Under: Product |Hey Kyte Fans,
Today we are launching the Kyte iPhone Applications Framework, a turnkey solution that allows media and entertainment companies to easily and cost-effectively deliver their online Kyte channels as fully branded iPhone and iPod Touch applications.
Interscope Geffen A&M, a division of Universal Music Group, is the first to launch Kyte-powered iPhones apps, making available today the following artist apps for free download from the U.S. iTunes App Store:
The apps feature artist produced video content, custom branding, download links for tracks and other digital downloads, up to the minute artist news, and interactive user engagement features, such as the ability to chat with other fans, comment and rate shows, and share content with friends. For a full run-down of the features, check out the Kyte iPhone Apps Framework product page of our website.
We're pretty excited to have this first set of Kyte-powered apps out in the wild. Here's a few things we think set our apps apart:
Fresh content
With new Kyte shows produced everyday, fans have a reason to come back to see what's new.

Interactivity
Fans can chat with each other in real-time, comment and rate shows, which translates to deeper audience engagement.

Cost-effective
Companies don’t need to devote extra resources to manage a separate mobile video solution. Kyte iPhone apps include the same content and branding as their online counterparts, allowing companies to converge their online and mobile audiences into a single community.

Thanks!
