Grammy-award winning singer Alicia Keys conducted a live chat exclusively for members of her fan club yesterday on her Kyte channel.

Keys chatted for close to an hour, covering a wide range of topics -- from some of her more memorable tour stops around the globe, to her next acting endeavors, and new music she's working on.

Shifty Kytes His Confession on VH1’s Sober House

We've seen lots of cool use cases of Kyte over the years -- from celebs sharing behind the scenes moments, to major brands creating innovative UGC campaigns.

But today we saw something totally unexpected, and frankly, pretty entertaining.

In episode five of VH1's Sober House, cast member Shifty Rocks has an apparent relapse, disappears from the house, and uses Kyte to confess to his friends that he's fallen off the wagon. You can view the segment on the Sober House website; Shifty begins Kyting around the 1:15 mark.

German hip hop star Samy Deluxe uses Kyte to connect with fans

Samy Deluxe, a major hip hop star in Germany, is using his Kyte channel to distribute content and engage with his fans.

The EMI Germany artist released his new music video on his Kyte channel and fans have been going crazy, using the chat feature to communicate with one another and comment on the new video.

Samy’s Kyte channel can be viewed on his website, or fans can embed the channel as a branded Facebook application on their profile pages. Fans can also utilize the Get & Share feature to embed the channel on their MySpace pages, fan sites and blogs.
