Artists and Fans Kyte the Austin City Limits Music Festival

The 2008 Austin City Limits Festival is using the Kyte Platform to allow fans and artists to collaborate and broadcast performances, interviews and behind the scenes footage from the festival.

Bands such as Black Joe Lewis, Slightly Stoopid, The Kills, What Made Milwaukee Famous, and Tegan and Sara will be Kyting for the festival’s branded “ACL Channel.” And fans will be uploading pictures and videos to the branded “Fan Channel.” The festival is utilizing the Kyte Platform’s channel changer feature, enabling viewers to click on the links at the top of the Kyte Player and toggle between the artist channel and fan channel.

Fans can watch the Austin City Limits branded Kyte channel on the official festival web site by clicking on “Festival Videos” or embed on their own blog, personal web site or social network by clicking on the “Get & Share” feature at the bottom of the Kyte Player.  Facebook users can install the branded Austin City Limits Kyte application and watch the show right on their profile page!
