David Hasselhoff is doing a major online event tonight beginning 8pm (PDT) at the Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas, kicking off the launch of his new international web site.

Mr. Knight Rider himself will use Kyte to broadcast video clips throughout the event and host three live chat sessions at 8pm, 12am and 4am (PDT).

SPIN.com & Metallica

Posted by: Gabe Brosbe    Under: Partners | Last night a handful of Metallica Fans were treated to a very special night as Metallica performed at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles to benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music SPIN Magazine was there and with Kyte mobile Metallica fans around the world could watch and chat live.

Jenniffer Kae started kyting

There is a lot going on in terms of music over here in Europe: Just a couple of days ago German newcomer Jenniffer Kae started her own Kyte channel documenting the beginning of her career. Being already a “power play” on local radio, Jenniffer will present her first album “Faithfully” on May 16. So far her Kyte channel contains a mix of official music videos, unplugged studio sessions of her debut album’s songs as well as interviews. We’re excited to accompany the 20-year-old singer with the great soul voice on her way to stardom.

MTV’s Joko on a roadtrip with Kyte

It’s our pleasure to announce our first partnership with a German TV station: Together with Kyte, MTV’s VJ Joko is going on a road trip from Berlin, Germany to Vienna, Austria to attend the finals of the European Football Championship taking place on June 29. However, he will need lots of support from his fan crowd in order to finally achieve this goal: He has just enough money to drive some miles out of Berlin. Using Kyte, Joko is now searching for supporters who can offer their help through a simple video message, creative slideshow, etc. To make it more fun, his supporters should also ask for a favour in return: paint their fence, clean the house or milk a cow. It will be exciting to see which challenges he has to master ...

Barnetta’s Meet & Greet Contest with Kyte

We’re excited to announce that Switzerland’s popular soccer star Tranquillo Barnetta is searching for his biggest fan using Kyte. Until May 31, his supporters are invited to send in their creative videoclips or slideshows and tell Tranquillo why they should be invited to an exclusive meet & greet in Koeln. There he’s currently playing for Germany’s popular club Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Contest participants may invite friends and family to vote for their entry and increase their chance to win. Based on the top 10 rated shows the final decision will be made by a selection committee.

There is even more to come! During the European soccer championship in June fans will get to know a lot more about Tranquillo himself when he’s starting to broadcast personal shows exclusively to his Kyte channel.
