Transparent channel logo

We added this capability in our recent release (see channel below).

New Kyte Mobile Web Features

- Kytefeed - now includes relevant chat messages, channel moderation alerts, and new trackbacks.
- Search - now you can search for Channels.
- Notifications - more AJAX-based notifcations for new shows, new slides (LifeStreams), live viewer count.

How to disable popups when starting Kyte Mobile Application?

You can disable the “choose your network” and “allow camera access” popups from the Java-Application J2ME following these steps:
1. Start phone
2. Click ‘Menu’
3. Click ‘Tools’
4. Click ‘App. Mgr.’
5. Find & click ‘Kyte’
6. Click ‘Open’
7. Click ‘Access point’ and select ’Cingular MMS‘ (for AT&T users)
8. Click ‘OK’
9. Click on ‘Network access’ and select ’Always allowed‘
10. Click on ‘Multimedia’ and select ’Always allowed‘
11. Click ‘Back’ and then ‘Exit’
NOTE: These settings will remain in place until you uninstall Kyte.
When changing your carrier (eg. travelling), simply reset the “Access point” setting to your local carrier.
