New Kyte Player Formats Now Available

Hey Kyte Fans,

Today we are introducing new Kyte Player formats that are designed to give you more flexibility in how your branded Kyte channel is displayed on your destination.

You will now be able to configure your Kyte Player to meet your specific design and functional requirements — from branding and layout, to user interaction capabilities. Players can be sized to fit the hosting web page and most common video aspect ratios, which are 4:3 or 16:9.

Companies can choose from the following Player formats:

Standard

The Standard Player format includes:

Branded header
Presence indicator of total concurrent viewers
Show browser
Community interaction, including Chat, Comments, and Ratings
One click access to Get & Share viral functions
4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio

Wide

Viewers watch shows on the left while they chat on the right.
Branded header is optional
Presence indicator shows total concurrent viewers

Tall

The Tall Player format includes all the benefits of the wide player, but with a vertical orientation. This format is a great option for web page columns with a narrow width.

Choose Your Player Controls & How They Are Displayed

In addition to the above Player formats, you can also choose which Player features you want exposed and how they are displayed. Whether it’s a compact or full-featured, branded Player, with docked or overlayed Player controls, you have more options for choosing the Kyte Player that is best suited for your online destination.
