Now Playing: Panik

Channel Featured On: Panik Official Website

One of the most promising newcomer bands in Germany, Panik has been nominated for the Bundesvision Songcontest (February 14, 2008) and two times for Echo 2008 (February 15, 2008).
The Panik Kyte channel was initiated by Universal Music Germany as a forward-thinking maneuver to help break the band to a broader audience and spread the word among fans.

Initially the channel was only embedded on the band’s website www.panik-musik.de. Immediately fans began embedding the channel virally across the web. Within twelve days the channel had been embedded over 330 times with close to 240,000 show views.

The band uses a Nokia N95 to upload video while on the go. During scheduled events like Bundesvision Songcontest or Echo 2008, the band interacts with fans live through multimedia chat.
