Daniel Graf - Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Daniel co-founded Kyte in 2006, helping to grow the company from its roots in mobile and social consumer video technology into one of the world’s leading online video platforms. As CEO, Daniel provides the company’s overall product vision and business leadership.

An internationally recognized technology pioneer with a rich background in home entertainment, consumer electronics and Internet services, Daniel has spent his career working in a number of product innovation and leadership capacities. Prior to Kyte, Daniel held multiple senior product and business development roles at Philips Consumer Electronics, where he led development of the world’s first internet audio stereo system as well as the world’s first wireless home entertainment system with internet video services. Prior to Philips, Daniel was Chief Software Engineer for ReQuest Multimedia, where he created the world’s first MP3 hard disk jukebox, the predecessor to today’s ubiquitous digital music players. 

Daniel holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Interstate College of Engineering (NTB), Switzerland, and an MS in Computer and Systems Engineering from RPI, Troy NY. 

Gannon Hall - Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Gannon leads Kyte’s overall product strategy, marketing, business development and operations. Gannon brings to Kyte nearly two decades of entrepreneurial leadership experience within the emerging and established consumer internet and enterprise software industries.

Prior to joining Kyte, Gannon was a Principal at Horn Group, a premier technology marketing and digital communications agency with offices in San Francisco and New York. As head of the agency’s New York office, Gannon was responsible for client strategy, business development and operations. Under his leadership the agency won several industry accolades for their innovative approach to brand building through integrated digital marketing, communications and social media. Prior to Horn Group, Gannon led Hall Consulting, a pioneering San Francisco web design and development consultancy that he founded in 1994. Clients included a diverse set of software companies including Vitria, AvantGo (Sybase), Commerce One, and PlaceWare (Microsoft).

Gannon began his career as a software engineer, user experience designer, web developer and consultant for companies including Pacific Telesis Group and US Web San Francisco, where he helped design and build enterprise applications and websites for clients including Rolling Stone Magazine, Proxim and Flextronics.

Erik Abair - Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder

Erik co-founded Kyte with Daniel Graf in 2006. As Chief Technology Officer, Erik leads all engineering and software architecture efforts for the company. Erik brings to Kyte more than a decade of software development and team management experience in the consumer electronics and multimedia space.

Prior to co-founding Kyte, Erik served as a software architect and engineering team lead for several Royal Philips Electronics projects at Philips Consumer Electronics. At Philips, Erik led development of the organization’s MC-i200 Internet radio project and contributed to development of its Digital Connectivity Platform and Meo Skunkworks project. While at Philips, Erik also founded and managed a distributed team of designers and engineers as part of the open source MAMEoX project. Prior to Philips, Erik held a software development role at ReQuest Multimedia.

Dan FitzSimons - Chief Revenue Officer

As Chief Revenue Officer, Dan leads Kyte’s overall revenue generation and global customer acquisition efforts. Dan brings to Kyte more than 18 years of sales and revenue management experience in the technology sector.

Prior to Kyte, Dan served as Vice President of Sales for Limelight Networks, where he led their transition from and inside sales based organization into a global field based operation, helping the company reorganize to focus on the largest brands on the internet. Dan’s efforts led to a more than 100 percent increase in revenue over the course of 2007, 2008 and 2009. Before Limelight, Dan led regional sales efforts for Symantec in the enterprise software market, delivering significant growth in the company’s roster of Fortune 1000 customers. Prior to Symantec, Dan held several sales and operational leadership roles across the U.S., Europe and Latin America with Gartner, Inc. During Dan’s tenure at Gartner, the firm saw annual revenue grow from $400 million to $1 billion.

Dan holds a bachelors degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Joe Elliott - Chief Software Architect

As Chief Software Architect, Joe is responsible for the design and architecture of Kyte’s application server. A veteran technologist with deep experience in the mobile, multimedia, and highly scalable internet application markets, Joe brings more than 20 years of software design and architecture experience to Kyte.

Prior to Kyte, Joe co-founded and led software architecture at ThumbJive, Inc., a leading mobile application development firm. At ThumbJive, Joe led the development of the TJLib mobile platform, a framework for cross-platform application development, multimedia content management, real-time data communication, mobile advertising and viral distribution. Before ThumbJive, Joe held numerous software development leadership roles at several major technology and services organizations, including Sony, Hewlett-Packard, Digital Chocolate, Hands-On Mobile, Amp'd Mobile, Swiss Bank and JP Morgan.

Anne Dorman - Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Anne leads Kyte’s finance, legal and administrative affairs. Anne brings to Kyte more than three decades of financial leadership experience for emerging and high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies.

Anne’s most notable roles as CFO include Advent Software, Ascend Communications (merged with Lucent, 1999), Atomic Vision (pre-IPO merger with Red Hat, 1999), Automattic, Cholestech, HealthCentral, Industrial Origami, Devicescape, Silicon Spice (merged with Broadcom, 2000), SKOLAR (merged with Wolters Kluwer), Sphere, Synaptics, Treasury Services Corporation (merged with Oracle, 1997), among many others.
